“As a well-established and successful Barbers for 27 years on the Isle of Man our initial concerns were, how would the current crop of modern Barber Chairs fit into Barbers Unit 5’s unique environment. With many Barbering Manufacturers today mainly catering for Salons & Studios that lean more towards a Clinical & Mini-SPA environment we knew we had to find the right Manufacture that could support our Brand requirement, understand our needs and at the same time provide a product that captured Barbers Unit 5’s Character, history and Unique Environment.
We quickly realised we were looking for more of a personal touch. We needed a Manufacturer that would listen and understand it wasn’t just an array of Barber Chairs but more of a customer experience that said to our customers, you’ve not just entered a Barbershop – you’ve entered Barbers Unit 5.
With these concerns, we decided to return to one of the UKs oldest Barbering Manufactures – REM.
From our first contact with the REM Team, we immediately knew it was going to be a fun project from start to finish. They listened to everything we had to say and quickly managed to capture Barbers Unit 5’s creative thoughts on how the Barber Chairs could be adapted, by colour and branding, and far different from the norm.
The unexpected, yet beneficial, experience I had was visiting the REM facility in Lancashire. I was amazed how engaging all the Staff were from the moment I walked into the building. Being able to speak to the Design Team regarding the smallest of details, feel the materials, share ideas whilst being on site, was for me one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever received and without question provided a precise and unique solution for all our ideas and unusual tastes.
REM and their staff have made this entire project enjoyable right to the end and provided Barbers Unit 5 with both a service and product style that enhances our customers unique experience.
